Some indexes that support the governmental planning of policies in Mexico are the called "Index of Marginalization" and "Index of Human Development". Diverse institutions in Mexico have being into the task of calculating them, so that they follow the international standards and criteria; the indexes are given by municipality, but on the case of the state of Yucatan, the planning is based on regions, that are added several municipalities what have geographic proximity and share characteristics that the Secretary of Planning and Budgeting of the Government of the State of Yucatan, SPP-GdeY, considers advisable to integrate them in a region. The problematic is that do not exist the named indices by regions; in this work the indexes of Marginalization and Human Development are presented, calculated by the regions conformed by SPP-GdeY, and the procedures and results are justified.

The primary goal in game design is to create the outlines of the structures: the Input-Output structure, the game structure, and the program structure. Mathematical analysis is a powerful tool in game design since it helps to view the problem as a general way and it specifies the role and interaction between objects. In this work the game structure is analysed by using algebraic representations such as geometry and linear algebra. Three videogames were succesfully implemented by using a design based on mathematical specification.

En este trabajo nos enfocamos a resolver el problema de minimizar el tiempo de abordaje de aviones comerciales, en concreto, para un avión chico, uno mediano y uno grande. Consideramos que el principal problema son las interferencias entre pasajeros causadas por el equipaje de mano, en vista de esto, proponemos un nuevo proceso de registro de equipaje, y en función de éste, un proceso de abordaje ordenado de acuerdo al tamaño del equipaje. Con esto, logramos reducir el tiempo de abordaje y además obtuvimos un proceso fácilmente generalizable para aviones de diferentes características a los tratados en este trabajo.

El teorema pequeño de Wedderburn dice que todo anillo de división finito es un campo, mientras que la generalización de Jacobson afirma que todo anillo de grado acotado es conmutativo. En este escrito se muestra una prueba completa del menciondo resultado de Jacobson.

Se detalla una prueba del teorema Skolem-Noether y se muestra una aplicación a los anillos de polinomios oblicuos y otra al teorema pequeño de Wedderburn.

Se presenta una breve reseña histórica de la Facultad de Matemáticas de la UADY desde su inicio hasta la actualidad, haciendo notar las dificultades que hubo que superar para llegar a lo que es hoy.

Let k be a field and A a k-specie of one edge, let M, N be finitely generated modules over A such that Ext(M) = 0 and Ext(N) = 0, then M is isomorphic to N as A- modules if and only if M is isomorphic to N as (A/radA)-modules.

We made a careful analysis of the traffic flow in Traffic Circles (TCs) to determine which are the most relevant factors that affects traffic flow. The main variables of our model are: the total of vehicles in the TC and their trajectories, and are assumed to be stochastic. Based on these variables we were able to represent by numerical values the general dynamics of the TC. Furthermore we designed an algorithm based on these relevant factors now quantified. Our algorithm can be used to define a control traffic system which optimize the traffic flow inside and outside the TC. We exemplified both our model and algorithm with an specific TC in order to illustrate how interpret the results of the algorithm. This will show that the results of our algorithm coincide with the intuition of how the traffic flow should be improved in this TC. We finally note that our model can be used, with slight modifications, in other types of TCs.

Se da una prueba de la clasificación de los módulos finitamente generados de algunas álgebras mansas y triangulares de dimensión finita sobre los reales, precisamente aquellas que son R-species de una sola arista, y se muestra una parametrización de sus módulos regulares a través de módulos de dimensión infinita.

Uno de los teoremas de Wedderburn nos dice que si D es un anillo de división finito entonces D es un campo; en este escrito motivamos dicho resultado resolviendo ejercicios clásicos de álgebra moderna y desarrollamos con detalle una prueba del mencionado teorema de Wedderburn.
